My experience with the International volunteer was
amazing! It was a surprise, because we knew about this project called “Edu
Change” but we didn’t know the person who would come. So, we met Anushka Ambli,
a really nice person! It was so funny, because she is so young ( she is only
twenty!), she’s from India and she’s a student.
She did a presentation of herself, she talked about
her country, Indian religions, Indian festivals, Indian weddings and her
brother’s wedding too. She also talked about the four emblems of India: the
International flag, the International bird (the peacock) , the International
sport (field hockey) and the Taj Mahal, one of the seven wonders of the world.
These lessons with Anushka were so funny, because we laughed
so much and at the same time we learnt a lot!
At the end, we did a performance where we showed in
front of the other class what we did with the International volunteer. Anushka
was so touched, she wore a typical Indian dress and she was so embarrassed, even if she was so beautiful!
Last year we met other people, but Anushka of course
is my favourite! Now that this experience is ended, I feel a little bit sad,
but so happy to have meet a special person!

In the month of November there
was a surprise very beautiful. The surprise was about the “edu change project”.
It is about hosting a volunteer, Anushka, she is an Indian girl.
She is twenty years old and she studies law at
university. Anushka lives in Bangalore with her family. With Anushka we have
analyzed together a power point about India.
This experience was very beautiful and in
addition we learned about the Indian
culture.
